Course Structure

  • Typically 6 months to 1 year in duration, including classroom sessions and practical training.

  • Major curriculum elements include:

    1. Fundamentals of Ayurveda and Panchakarma principles.
    2. Anatomy, physiology, and Ayurvedic pharmacology relevant to Panchakarma.
    3. Preparation and administration of various Panchakarma therapies such as Snehana, Swedana, Vamana, Virechana, Basti, and Nasya.
    4. Hands-on experience with Panchakarma procedures and associated equipment, often earned through on-job training.
    5. Instructions regarding Ayurvedic diet, lifestyle practices, and patient

Panchakarma is a method of cleansing the body of all the unwanted waste after lubricating it. Panchakarma are 5 (five) in number; hence the term PANCHA (five) – KARMA (procedures). Panchakarma treatment is unique in the sense that it includes preventive, curative and promotive actions for various diseases. There are 5 stages in Panchakarma: At the heart of a Panchakarma treatment are the five cleansing procedures. These are called

A Diploma in Ayurveda and Panchakarma (DAPC) is a specialized educational program that focuses on traditional Indian holistic health practices, specifically Ayurveda and Panchakarma therapies.
 

Panchakarma Course is for 6 months (3 months onsite and the remaining 3 months as a home study) Successful completion of this course entitles you to work as an Ayurvedic Lifestyle Consultant.

Shodhana entails detoxification and purifying processes and necessitates an Ayurvedic doctor’s sophisticated clinical understanding. Passing the 12th standard/identical assessment with at least 55 per cent in any subject is necessary for entry into this course.
